Ever wonder which plants are edible and which to avoid? The Missouri Department of Conservation has captured a now out of print book, Wild Edibles of Missouri by Jan Phillips, as a set of PDF files free for downloading. To access the files, just click on the book title above to open a new window where you can download each chapter.
As always, if you are uncertain whether a particular plant is edible or dangerous, ere on the side of caution and get a positive identification from an expert. Consuming the wrong plant could cause illness or death.
