U.S. Representative John Boozman (R-AR) today urged all Arkansas seniors to sign-up for the Medicare Prescription Drug Plan which best fits their needs. The enrollment period begins November 15 and runs through December 31, 2007.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Architecture professor Michael Hughes and 12 School of Architecture students are breaking ground this week on a new outdoor learning classroom for Washington Elementary School. Forget about golden shovels - the architecture students are digging foundations with a mini-excavator and skid steer while the school children look on.
Hughes has led several award-winning design/build projects and believes hands-on experience is critical for student architects.[more]
The Rogers (AR) School Board is considering a proposal that it hire a professional fundraiser to solicit donations to support high school athletics. Rogers Athletic Director Mark Holderbaum, brought the idea of a fundraiser to the board.
If approved, the fundraiser would be paid a commission based on the money he or she raises.
