The MoDOt project to widen U.S. Highway 65 south of Branson is nearing completion. The new southbound lanes south of Hollister are scheduled to open for traffic the morning of December 3.
A small section of the highway, just at the southern city limits of Hollister, will remain closed for a short time as crews remove the temporary crossover that was installed during construction.
