ROLLA, Mo. – Three new recreation passes give visitors access to recreation sites managed by five federal agencies.

The $80 a year Interagency Annual Pass has two signature lines and any two individuals can use the pass to get access to recreation sites managed by US Forest Service, US Bureau of Land Management, US Park Service, US Fish and Wildlife Service and Bureau of Reclamation. In Missouri, US Corps of Engineers will also honor these passes.

The Interagency Annual Pass admits pass holder and any accompanying passengers in a private, non-commercial vehicle. At per person fee areas, the pass admits holder and up to 3 people. Persons 15 and younger are admitted free of charge.

The Interagency Pass replaces the Golden Eagle Passport and National Parks pass.

The Interagency Senior Pass is available to citizens age 62 or older and is valid for a lifetime. This pass is also valid for a 50% discount of some fees such as camping.

The Interagency Access Pass is available to citizens with a documented permanent disability and provides the same benefits as the Senior Pass.

Existing passes will remain valid until expired, lost or stolen.

All revenue generated from pass sales at federal recreation sites will directly benefit the selling agency and no less than 80 percent of the revenue will be used for operations, maintenance and site improvements.

America the Beautiful Interagency Passes can be purchased at participating agencies and purchased online. Details: 888-275-8747 (select option 1); via Internet: http://store.usgs.gov or http://www.recreation.gov. Senior Passes or Access Passes must be purchased in person.
