Google Shows How to Save Energy

Using a simple, Halloween based theme, Google has devised a brief survey for people to demonstrate how they can help conserve energy while lowering their own carbon emissions.

The survey, located at http://www.google.com/hauntedhouse08/index.html, asks five questions about power management, lighting and other home related topics. Your answers are immediately translated into annual dollar savings as well as decreased C02 emissions, both of which can be surprisingly large.

Google even links to a page that tells how they came up with the calculations and to another page that lists lots more ways to save energy.image
