January 17 & 18—Eagle Days
St. Louis, Missouri
Eagle Days is held at the Old Chain of Rocks Bridge at 10950 Riverview Drive, St. Louis, MO 63137. It is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. There is an educational eagle program repeated every 20 minutes from 10 a.m. – 2:40 p.m. Hands-on, bird-oriented educational displays will be manned by the St. Louis Audubon Society all weekend inside the warming tent at the center of the Bridge. There are viewing scopes on the Bridge and re-enactors for aspects of Lewis & Clark’s expedition. Be sure to bring your binoculars and dress for cold weather. February 21—Sparrow Workshop
Wildcat Glades Conservation & Audubon Center, Joplin, Missouri
Ozark Gateway Audubon Society will host a sparrow workshop and walk. Participants will meet at the Wildcat Glades Conservation & Audubon Center at 8:00 a.m. There will be a workshop on sparrow ID and natural history, followed by a sparrow search.

March 2008—Nebraska Platte River Valley trip
Ozark Gateway Audubon Society
OGAS is planning a trip to Nebraska to observe the annual crane migration. It promises to be a spectacular sight! Once details are arranged, they will be be announced at this site or you can call David Henness at 417-206-2884 or e-mail him.
