Category Changes on freshare

You may notice a few changes in our topic categories on freshare. We consolidated some major categories that had a tough time standing alone and we gave more prominence to others. We feel these changes better reflect where freshare is headed as a website that explores the Ozarks outdoors.

For example, Science is a topic that tended to get lost in the News category, so we moved it to Nature, a better home for the kind of information we discuss. We also began a new category—Pursuits -- that combines outdoor activities with destinations and backyard topics. Finally, we added a new category under Nature to collect my blog posts. Wanders is the simple title of this editor’s blog.

The photo gallery has also experienced a consolidation of categories to better reflect the other changes on freshare. Nature and wildlife, Pursuits, Ozarks skies and weather, and People are the new categories.

We hope you will continue to enjoy the stories and information we present on freshare. Our thanks for being a reader and site visitor.
